... or maybe all of the African Americans didn't just want a black president, they wanted one that would support their rights, and do a good job of governing the country.

Not all black people want a black president. I am black and I don't want obama to win because I believe him or someone in his family will be killed because of racism.

Get over the racism this is the year 2008. This world will never be all of one race, that's the way God made his people. This world would be pretty boring if everyone looked the same. I hope that you can release that anger and start to love again. You will feel so much better if you can get over the bitterness that was taught to you. I am sorry that you feel that way.

Most US Black politicians often get into politics for their own edification, although their platform often states a representation for their Black people. Most Black politicians, like their White comrades, are known to abandon whatever promise they made to their people before election and simply play politics - Obama, however, appears to be taking a different approach into things by not emphasizing his Blackness. You will note that several notorious Blacks are not siding Obama - I think it is because they find him unpredictable. They are not sure of what Obama would indeed do if he succeeded, and I think that scares them a lot. This exclusion by notorious Blacks and Black groups could be a hint to a positive for Barack Hussein Obama! (Laughs) You have got to laugh, if you can see what I see!

I get what you're saying... Kind of. 'outside his suit' sounds a little sketchy if you take it literally though, and I'm not sure that I feel much sympathy towards the cerails... Whatever they are. It seems to me that if you're going to say such a bold statement, such a prejudice sounding statement, then you should at least take the time to edit your post to make sure that you know what you're saying so that others can know what you're saying. Though I'm pretty sure that most of the world knows who is running for President in our country, just because of all of the emphasis we put on it. So I'm positive that if any of the candidates were wanted for something in some other country we would know about it by now.

I would like to think the people are "tearing him down" because of his politics, not the color of his skin. And when the polls are open, I definitely hope that everyone walks into their voting booth color-blind.
