So the Giants came into this as a wild card team and now look where they are almost at the top. Last night was an upset game every body thought for sure Greenbay was going to blow them away but the Giants pushed on. Now i am a Giants fan but i can say i dont think they would have one if Bret Farve did not throw that inception in OT. This was by far the best game i have ever watched on TV. GO GIANTS GO ALL THE WAY BABY. Now what do u think are there chances of winning the whole the do u think they can do it. ANd what did u think about last nights game?

Of course they have a chance. I don't care for either team but they proved to be worthy of going all the way this year. Will they win? I don't think they will but it won't be a blowout. It might be the 1st Super Bowl to ever go into Overtime.

They match up well against the Pats. Great running game with Jacobs and Bradshaw against a mediocre run defense. Great d-line to have ability to put some pressure on Brady. If Manning, Burress, Toomer and that entire offensive unit can get in a rhythm early, I think they have a chance. I think the Pats will win but I see a close game. 27 to 24.

I think it is doubtful, but I would be happy for them. I have been a patriots fan since the season they ended up going to the superbowl 7 years ago, so I will cheer for them, but I wouldn't hate it if Eli won, since I'm from Mississippi

uh, could both the patriots and NY lose? I don't think NY should have beat the Cowboys much less Greenbay. I really don't think they have a chance beating the Patriots. I am not a fan of either team so that kind of makes the Superbowl a loss for me this year. There is always next year.

I believe that the Giants have the same odds of winning at this point as do the Patriots. Sometimes pressure can create unexpected results. The main differences I saw between the Patriots/Chargers game and the Giants/Packers game was that the Giants enjoyed playing. They were grinning from ear to ear and truly enjoying the game regardless of whether they were winning at that moment or not. The Patriots, on the other hand, looked like it was a chore to be out there. None of them were smiling and it didn't look like enjoyment to me. Now, I do understand that Coach Belicheck tends to create a level of pressure that puts them in that particular mood, but you are coming off of an undefeated season and should be happy about it. I mean, you are going to the Super Bowl, hello!

I dont think the giants have a chance at winning come this sunday. The patriots simply have too much going for them. Eli manning is going to have to play the perfect game if he hopes to keep the dream alive. There is a reason the patriots are 17-0

Yo buddy also Tom Brady is injured and Giants are going to be attacking him like crazy blitz after blitz. If he is just play around well thats not cool.

Honestly I was rooting for the Packers, only because Bret is from the south. Now that the Giants are going to the Super Bowl, I want them to win. I am so sick and tired of hearing about Brady. Plus if the Giants win, Eli can stand tall next to his brother Payton. I can only imagine that household. I went to the Super Bowl and won, in a shorter time span than you did, ha ha. So Go Giants Go.

I wanted the Packers to win because of Favre, but I kind of considered it a no lose for me. I also wanted Eli Manning to show all those critics what he was really made of. I wasn't surprised the Giants won, and I'm surprised so many people predicted a blow out. Now it is rare to find anyone who will say the Giants can beat the Patriots. It would seem 'destiny' was on their side. The odds are slim that the Giants can win. That being said, I'm picking the Giants to win it all. : )

The Giants played a long game to the Packers - close game of course. Now I watched the the Patriots/Chargers game - we thought the Chargers were going to upset the Patriots that Sunday game - we were wrong! A tough game but Patriots whoop them pretty bad with a 21 to 12 game. Here in San Diego we just had a downcast face and said oh well next time. Now think about it the Patriots are 18-0 undefeated which broke the NFL Record history of not losing one game. The Packers/Giants game was sloppy and in no way either team played like the Patriots. It's obvious that in the Super Bowl the Patriots are going to win again for what the 4th or 5th time? They're like the New York Yankees or the Boston Red Soxs going to every championship to bring the trophy home. Giants don't even stand a chance! I'm going for NE all the way!

I was rooting for the giants the whole time, even though the Dolphins are my fave. team. But if the Giants can keep that defense going against the patriots offense, then they can kick some butt. I think it'll come down to a field goal, much like the giants vs. packers game. Except a high score margin in the end. I say they'll win 24-21. :D

Let's look at their playoff run so far. On the road against a good Tampa Bay team. This was a hot temperature game. And they made pretty easy work of it winning by ten. So then they had to go into Dallas. No one thought the Giants were going to win this game. Dallas had beaten them twice. And what happens? Giants win by 4. Now last night they played the hardest game all year. At Green Bay, in -24 degree wind chill they pull off yet another road win kicking the overtime field game. First of all let me answer the question of what I thought about last nights game. I agree with you that they wouldn't have won if Favre hadn't thrown that interception in overtime. But you can also say that it wouldn't have been close if Favre hadn't thrown the other interceptions, etc. The fact is this, even in the harsh conditions, the Giants were the better team last night. As for the Super Bowl...Do I think they have a chance? Sure I do. Right now they are the hottest team in football for the simple fact they have done all this on the road. They are ready for another road game. The Patriots on the other hand have had the comfort of a home crowd their last 6 out of 8 games. The only two road games in there they only won by a combined score of 6 points and one of those was the thrilling week 17 game against the Giants. And the Giants will have the benefit of the crowd because let's face it, America loves underdogs and so there will be boos aimed at Brady and the rest of the juggernauts. Now I'm not saying that everything is going to go the Giants way, New England has the best shot at winning this game. But the Giants have to be sick to their stomachs still that they couldn't stop the Pats from finishing the season undefeated and now they have one more shot to add a lose to their perfect season. If that isn't enough to pump you up I don't know what is. Giants win this game 27 to 24 :)

To tell you the truth, I was rooting for Brett Favre and the Packers last night. I'm not a fan, back in the 90's I always thought Favre was overrated. I guess, after all the recent bad seasons they've been through, questions about his retirement and all that.....by them pulling a miracle season.....it was just nostalgia why I was rooting for them. As far as the Giants, HELL YEAH they have a chance against the Pats. I'm not saying it's gonna be easy...it's gonna be a grind and a wicked battle. But if we all go back to that final week of the regular season, Eli and the Giants gave Brady and the Pats a run for their money. I think this Super Bowl will be one of the most exciting ones, even if the public seems to think it will be a blowout. I really beg to differ, it will be a close game and it may come down to whoever has the ball during the final minutes of this battle. The Pats have had a perfect season, but the Giants have been surging and peaking of late. It's gonna be a GREAT Super Bowl!!!!
