In some instance mobile can disturb our sleep for sure specially if it is not set as silent during our sleep or it has a most disturbing ringtone ever and it rings million times in our sleeping hours,,anyway calls during night is for emergency calls or important that can't wait until the next day,,, we have to deal with it,,and be sorry to be disturbed..

This study is interesting. Personally, I use a landline most of the time, and only cell phone when landline is not available. However, my teenager uses only a cell phone. My teenager had insomnia since birth, so I can not say that the cell phone has made a distinct difference in that area. The insomnia is no greater than it already was. We are around all kinds of electronic fields in our lives with microwaves, computers, copiers, faxes, TV's, radios etc. They even have tools you can buy to see if your microwave is leaking, because that is a different danger. Back to cell phones, I had heard long ago, that extensive use of cell phones does increase brain tumors on the side of the brain that people use their cell phones, and some even a similar shape to a cell phone, but at that time, they were trying to squash that study as not to alarm the general public from using cell phones. So it is hard to determine what truths are. They tried to claim that Mercury used in baby vaccines as a preservative between 1989 and 1998 was not responsible for the increase in Autism either, but documented evidence was found stating otherwise. 1 in every 155 children are diagnosed with it. I believe that we each have to ponder and decide our views in regard to some of these kind of risks ourselves, because if there is big money behind some of these, the general publics interest is not necessarily what will prevail. Too many times, by the time the public finds out the effects of something, it is too late to reverse them. People working with Asbestos and in Coal Mines won their fights after the fact. Great question, finding, and subject though. There are risks associated with using non-stick teflon coated pans to cook with too. Especially if the teflon has been chipped on the pan from use. It is my understanding that there are risks allowing saran wraps to touch food also. The lists of bad things for us humans goes on and on and on.
