How far does this go? Can this reverse chronic pain, or help cancer patients?

Hello,Todd! a good laugh is not only enjoyable but also ensures better health.laughter is a revitalising tonic that heightens and brightens our mood, gently relieving us of tensions.laughter reduces pains.it allows a person to forget about pains such as aches and arthrites.laughter causes the production of endorphins, one of the body's natural pain killers.laughter reduces the hormones associated with stress response and makes life easy to live.laughter also enhances the immune system in our body.our immune system plays a vital role in keeping good health.all negative emotions like anxiety, depression,or anger weaken the immune system of our body, there by reducing its fighting capacity against infections. laughter helps to increase the count of natural killer lymphocytes and also raises the antibody levels.so it is rightly said that LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE.thank you.

Yes, it does minimize or eliminate pain and diseases. The body and mind are inextricably linked. It's been shown that depression precedes heart attacks and other serious conditions and it's been shown that "a merry heart doth good, like medicine." People who are happy have fewer health problems.

I know humor therapy helped Norman Cousins.
OTOH I believe there are very few modalities that can help everyone. Conversely this therapeutic may be helpful to some people. People say prayer works wonders but that doesn't work for everyone either.
I can't yes or no. I think it depends on various variables and factors involved.

No, it doesn't change any physical condition. However, yes, laughter is the best medicine. Putting a smile to someone who is in pain is changing something his / her psychological condition. That is, a certain tremendous change within him/her is commencing, the mind is now beginning to change the painful depression and the soul is beginning to light up in smiles, the body responses.
Truly, laughter is the best medicine. How far would it go? The next question would be, how far is the person willing to accept his/her condition? The mind will always get in the way. Laughter or smiles or a little cheers will never work if the mind is too depressed to accept his/her condition.
Live the hope! Smile today... spread the love!
