Martha Madison(Belle) and Brandom Beemer have been let go.

This came as a shock to me Martha Madison (Belle) and Brandom Beemer have been let go they were given the news Friday and have a couple weeks to finish taping to wrap up their storyline. I wonder what will happen to Claire it does not say anything about her leaving the show. The show will seem weird without Shawn and Belle. Wow! There is a surprise. Maybe they will bring them back later since they brought John back. Hopefully, they will have a better storyline to make up for it then. I wonder if Belle will get back together with Shawn and they go after Claire to drag it out.

I don't know how the storyline will go it shocked me when I saw they had been let go. I thought they would be on the show forever. But yep this is Days they could be brought back later. I hope they find Claire and don't drag out the story of they are out looking for her.

I wonder why they are letting everyone go? Carrie, Austin, Will, John (well they brought him back...which I think is a dumb storyline) and now Belle and Shawn. They need to quit getting rid of everyone.

The storyline with John is boring. I feel like they are repeating things and it's getting old. They need some new stories. Thanks for sharing this info. Have a great day.

It says it is storyline based and there will be more cuts to come. I hate Johns storyline it is rather boring.

Those two seem like an unusual selection in terms of being removed from the show, I thought they had a good storyline going...wonder what happened and how they'll dismiss them. Maybe they'll be killed and Claire will go live with gramma Marlena or something?? Who knows. What do you think would be a good ending for those two?

I hope they are not killing them off. Do you think that they will leave town to get their lives back on track? I cannot see them totally doing away with Shaun or Belle. Do you think they might be replacing them?

I think the show is going into storylines with the vets of the show like Marlena, John, Bo, Hope and Kayla so I think they just don't have a storline for them.

but is it the actors and characters or are they going to replace them? i wasn't too keen on these actors, so any others will do! but i would be sad if they let go of the characters too!

It says the cuts were storyline driven so I am taking it that the characters are being wrote out.

I never liked this Shawn or Belle so I will be glad to see them go. Their story lines are getting way to stupid too. I hope they go away and magically the good shawn and belle reappear.

I don't think the orignal Belle will come back as she plays on General Hospital now and won an award for her acting on there. I never liked their storylines either.

Wow, I had no idea. I am a bit bored with Days these days LOL. I never really cared for the new Shawn as much as the old one. I think he's a good actor, but he just seems so "rough around the edges" compared to the old Shawn. I'm used to Martha Madison as the new Belle, though that really took a while. I hope Philip will be staying.... Oh, and I'm glad they brought John back, but I don't like the storyline at all.

I'm bummed that they are leaving. I'm not real fond of the people that play Belle and Shawn but I think that with all these people leaving that the show is becoming less and less interesting. From what I hear Lucas is leaving for awhile, Adrienne is leaving, Billie, possibly Kate but they aren't sure yet. Grandpa shawn...Who next???

Beemer has never been a very good actor. Madison is better, but still, the two are no Storms/Cook. I'm hoping for a recast of the latter down the road. Plus the writing for Belle/Shawn has been pretty poor for quite some time now. I love the characters, but not the current writing nor the current actors portraying them. My guess is that Belle/Shawn will ride off into the sunset to 'work out their problems', and we'll see them recast eventually.
