Interests

Okay, here's something that bugs the bleep out of me. When I answer a discussion, and click to post it, this thing pops up that asks me if I want to add this category to my interests, and if I don't click yes, then every time I re-respond, it pops up again - and again - and again. It's really annoying, because I tend to do a lot of back and forth resonding with my friends here. If I wanted that category in my interests, I would put it there. Period. So what do you think?

I agree with you. There should be someway to say "don't ask me this again". By the way, nice picture. :)

Here, here, prettypinkbug!!! There certainly should be! I think that we should all get together and demand exactly that. Some way to say "don't ask me this again". Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we start this up? Please refer below. Oooops, there are no more responses at this point! Whew! My fingers are numb. Geez, I'll know better next time than to ask this kind of question! lolololololol I love each and every one of you! God bless us every one! (She bows to the responders, as low as she can, which isn't very low, 'cause she's feeling stiff and creaky tonight, but she throws kisses to everyone, with genuine love and affection) Please refer below. yuk, yuk

Yes, my hand is up as well and I've joined the group interested in forming their group to find a solution to this problem. Bercause they now have the interests as part of a rating system I don't think we'll get any joy any time soon.

Please forgive me for not responding sooner, but if you read my earlier comments, you'll see that I've been having a hell of a time keeping myself online. My computer doesn't like me very much this evening and the FEELING IS MUTUAL! Earlier, I tried no less than 5 times to respond to your PM to me re our new friendship and I was thwarted every time. So I'm going to hit Send right now and then continue again.

As you can see my sweet, it takes me a while to respond as well. My pc is running too slowly these last few days and I've been away from home more than usual. It's a tad tiresome but not unforgiveable I hope.

Okay, here I am again. Notice how long it took me to get back? That's because my 'puter blacked out again and again and again. So for tonight, I'm giving this one up. Please forgive me. I WILL answer you tomorrow. So until then, love, love, love. Oh, and love.

I sometimes experience this but the thing that controls us or the response you submit is a system that would recognize only a query. Your response will not be entertained in a real-time environment. Anyway, sometimes it consumes my time because being asked by the same question you said would mean loading the window for another time and it sometimes really take time especially if my connection is slowing. It’s a good suggestion though for mylot programmers. Hey why not.

Thank you, MG! I wonder if the mylot programmers are going to read this one? No, not controversial enough....

Well that's really one annoying part of mylot, but believe me, you'll get used to it as you get to stay long here. Like that's my problem also back then, but I guess that'll be a normal occurrence here for you as time passes by. Until now, I still receive those types of questions of adding that particular interest on my list. I think the internet connections are a factor too, the faster they are, the more you wouldn't notice it!;)

Raijin, thank you so much for joining the discussion. I've been reading some of your responses lately and I find them, um, interesting. lol Yes, it's an annoying part of Mylot, and I refuse to get used to it! Please refer below.

That's annoying to me also..I've been doing a lot of back and forth responding to one discussion, and sure enough that same pesky "Add This To Interest" pops up...the subject that pops up is PMS.....uh I DON'T HAVE PMS...I'm beyond my PMS days so why do I want that as an interest?

And, Pye, my darling kitty, I don't respond to discussions because of what category they're in, like for instance PMS. Thanks be to the universe, that's over for me too. So, as you so aptly put, why do I want that as an interest? Please refer below.

Even if you said yes it still can pop up again. I have edited my interests just recently because I had duplicates and triplicates on a lot of them. For example the mylot interest, I had three of them because I said yes three times without thinking it was going to put it there again. I have another one that says relationships and I had it twice in my list. So I deleted one of those too. So every once in awhile I check them and sure enough there is another one that is duplicated.
