Being a body concious is okay.We feel dissatisfied with how we look like, is quite normal but sometimes it will affect of how much we eat and it might be at risk...

Yes, if you diet too much, you'll get anorexic. It is better to cut down some foods you eat and add enough fruits and vegetables. You have to cut down mainly aerated soft drinks and cheesy things like pizza and other oily things. If you can see to this and then do some exercises, just skipping for sometime should be enough, you'll lose weight. You'll look and feel good and no stretch marks either

dieting doesnt lead to anorexia. not eating anything at all IS anorexia. theres a difference.

Just dieting according to the dietitician or through a proper diet will not get you a Anorexia, I also know that. I said if you diet too much, you'll get anorexic. I have studied medicine myself. I should know

there shouldnt be a questions as to whether to eat or not to eat. not eating is unhealthy and will make you feel horrible, and can kill you. you cant drive yer car if you dont put gas in it right? the question should be WHAT you eat and HOW MUCH of it. these fad diets of no carbs, no protiens, no dairy, etc, are very unhealthy, as you need the nutrients from all healthy foods in order to stay healthy. if yer trying to lose weight, kick the junk food, dont go back for seconds, and get yer butt up and moving. the weight WILL come off.

after looking at yer picture, you dont need to lose any weight. if anything, someone should be stuffing biscuits and gravy into you.

If you are dissatisfied with how you long, only changing your eating habits isn't going to do all that much for you. When will people learn that they have to eat right AND exercise to see a difference in how they look. I am still toting around some extra pounds from the last time I was pregnant but it doesn't influence what I eat or when.

Hi Jheng - I understand where you're coming from. I too went through that problem here I mean people pretty much eat anything and don't watch what they eat. I can say I've had that problem for a while. You remember seeing me in 2006 - I was really fat and heavy. Took me a few months to be there and lost almost 100 lbs, but then coming back here gaining half of it back. But this 2008, i'm looking forward of cutting down and watching what I eat so that I don't have a risk of what I'm eating. What helps is less rice, more vegetables, less salt and sugar. Ever need information let me know.

I hate the way I look. People around me tell me I look great but there my family. And they don't want to hurt my feelings.BUt what you say is true if im sad I want to eat,but my head tells me not to eat.Im like 30lbs over weight so I always choose not to eat.Dont get me wrong I don't starve myself or anything but I do limit myself. :(
