Would you prefer - or do you prefer - having lotsov friends who aren't necessarily close but so many that you always have things to do - and a big group to do it with. Or would you or do you prefer to have one friend whom you are very very close to?

Since I like a variety of things, I prefer a large amount of friends that aren't too close. So I could go to hockey games with my hockey friend and to a piano concert with another friend.

This makes a lot of sense. Why limit yourself?

I have one friend with whom I am very close...as close as sisters. I have many friends I can count on. And I have several that are casual friends. I like having a really good friend more then having alot of casual friends.

I agree. I value my time on my own - I don't want to spend all of it on my own - but since I place such a high value on my time (only because it revitalizes me - recharges my batteries and keeps me content and happy to spend time on my own) I don't want to spend it with those I'm not really close to. I'd rather give it to those I'm bonded with.

I do love to talk much things with one or two intimate friends. But I also like to have many friends to keep with. The more friends I have and I can share with, the more that I will feel happy.I just wanna to keep busy with stuff from my friends. And the same time ,I may prefer to keep alone for a while. So it seems hard to differentiate the preference to many normal friends or a few intimate ones.

I am the second case scenario. I like one or two close friends who are there for me and would cancel any plans they had made if I need them. I am not much for going out in large group unless I liked 3 girls that are single parts of that same group.

I'd say one friend. . .even though that one friend and I tend to clash sometimes on views on certain things. I had another friend just as close but he's gone. . .I miss him. Unlike my other friend he was a bit more open-minded. .I hope that close friend never sees this post though. Even if we do argue sometimes and she tends to be a bit sharp with her words during debates. She's very trustworthy and loyalty is a big plus for me.

Well I perfer to have several close friends whom I know I can count on no matter what. I know alot of people that I consider friends but I don't hang with them like I would my close friends.

I would love having one close friend that I can count on through thick and thin! And at the same time, we can do a lot of things together.

I prefer to go it alone or with just one close friend.

I have a lot of aquaintances. I prefer to just have one that i'm really close to. I lost that friend a year ago so its really hard for me to let anyone else get close again. So until that time comes i'll just go it alone.
