is there enough time in the day for you to do what you want to do?

i have found that as the pace of life gets faster and employers want their money's worth i find that i have less time for myself and my family. all my time is taken up with getting ready for work, working, travelling home in awful traffic conditions, be it train or car.when i get home i have to get out of my smart clothes and into something more comfortable. dinner has to be maid for the family otherwise they starve. then i get a couple of hours of that a night to spend with my family until its bed time and it all starts over again. i wish that we had 36 hours in the day, more sunshine and didnt have to sleep so much, then we could enjoy life more. what do you guys think?

sometimes yes there is not much of time to finish what i wanted to do. like for example, im having a 24-hour deadline of my assignments/projects and there no more time to do something to make it good. it happen to me lots of time, i had to go overnight in front of my computer just to finish it. then go to school without taking a bath and no sleep at all hahaha..

i guess being a teacher is not so bad, yes you may have to work hard during term time but you get a lot of holidays, especially in the uk.

I definitely found that there are some days when no matter how much time we might have, I can never get everything that I need to get done to fit into the day. There will always be a need for more time, unfortunately it's the one thing we can never make more of. There is only a finite amount for everyone, so we've got to use it the ebst we can. I know that I try to cherish the moments that I am not at work, or studying, and just try to relax and spend time with those who are most imortant to me.

There's never enough time in a day!! 36 hours would be great! Alot of my time goes into work, like yours does and I think there should be more to life than just work. Seems to me, the more things I have to do at home, the less time I have to do them, and the less I do, the more I have to do and then there's even less time to do them! Hmmm....now that I typed all of that out it looks like I didn't have time to type out a great answer!! OH WAIT!! I don't !! what was I thinking? (kids are hungry and the dryer's buzzing.......) I don't have time to finish what I was going to say....

No, I always hope to have more time. I have to work in daytime. And after I go home, I will do some housework and then I need some time to be with my son. And finally there are a few hours left before going to bed. So I have no more time for my own interests. Perhaps I will have more spare time when I am retired. If I have enough time, be sure I will do something that I am interested in. Such as watching movie, listening to music, painting, making the ploymer clay figures, computer, photography etc.

Yes, I always feel that. As a nine-to-six office worker for a service company which is a bit far from my home, I have to take nearly 2hours every day for the distance and have not much time for my personal matters. I planed to build a website for some business but have to delay time and again for some halfway incident outside. My mother's phone, my friends' chatting, my sister's message and her daughter's visit. I wish I had more time in a day and more hands and legs for my plans.

i hate commuting, once i had a job 300 miles away from my home, it paid well but wasnt worth the distance and sacrifice. i stayed near my office for two weeks, and then on the second week i travelled home for the weekend. not nice!!!

well i think we need enough sleep to face another day at work and with the family...yes it is very short and sometimes very boring when it becomes a routine..its up to us to manage our time ..and spending quality time with the family..

No, I don't have enough time in the day for all things i want to do. I wish that there could me more time. In the morning I go to college and I return from college in the afternoon then i sleep for some time and in the evening I study and surf internet and finally I go to sleep at night. But I cannot balance the usage of internet and studies , so I wish that I could get some more time. But I like Saturdays and Sundays because its holiday from my college and I relax and enjoy my whole day.

I absolutely agree. It really s_cks being an employee. You have no control over your life and especially your time. That's why we need to find ways to retire early and get out of the rat race. Because family should always come first.

i suppose there would be enough time if we squeeze it.but we just wait and let every valuable minute fly away.everyone knows it ,but we just can't make up our minds to do what we have planed to ,including me.suppose,we spare 5minutes everyday or just get up a bit earlier.it makes sense in a year.i alway cry for the time i missed with unreasonable excuse.i feel shameful.
