Digital TV ???????

At some point in the future analogue TV transmitters will be switched off. All house holds will need to have digital TV in order to be able to continue watching television.
What do you think? In which year in your region will need to have digital TV in order to be able to continue watching television?

Where I live they are transitioning to digital by February 2009 you will either need to have a digital tv or you will need a converter box to hook up to your tv so you will be able to get tv if you don't have satellite or cable hooked up to it.

I think it was inevitable that this would happen since technology is moving so fast in this area. Here in MA we are told that by the end of 2008 if we don't have digital tv we will have basically no tv. It had to happen sometime and the time is here. I personally don't think it's fair but I'm ready and not going to sweat it.
