The Oscars....33 days and counting! What does your list of winners look like?

Most of the movies nominated I haven't even seen yet but there are a few that I did see and I hope will win Best Movie. The Depated was one of my favorites but Flags of Our Fathers was an awesome movie. I would love to see Happy Feet get it over Cars for animated films although I haven't seen cars yet and it does look cute. As for Actors in a leading role I would like to see George Clooney or Daniel Day Lewis get it even though I didn't see either movie I think their both awesome performers. Cate Blanchett should get it for Elizabeth:The Golden Age (I didn't see that either but she's a great actress.
Who and what are your favorites for this years Oscars? Do you generally watch the show or just find out in the news?

I don't follow the Oscars as I once did, ctry, and I doubt that I've seen any of the movies that are nominated-yet. I have not watched the actual show in years, but I do get to catch some moments via watching Extra! I love animated films, and often buy them-only to have them claimed by my little great-grandson when he comes to visit. If it's animated, he thinks it's for him. I think Daniel Day Lewis is a phenomenal actor, a cut above the rest. I hope he wins.

I'm not a big fan of any kind of awards show but I have to admit that sometimes I get caught up in all of the hype. I mostly like to see what everyone is wearing and their hairstyles...lol...

Hey there ctrymuziklvr. I don't really ever watch the oscars but, I always log in the following day to find out who won. I also enjoy seeing the best dressed and the worst dressed. Some of the gowns are so beautiful!

Watching the clothes that everyone wears is the main reason I watch just about any awards show. Even the guys these days sometimes show up in awesome outfits.
