Inspiration or muse?

My inspiration comes in many forms. I don't really have a muse, though. I find that when I'm writing or thinking about writing I am at a loss but when it's the last thing from my mind, I get a million ideas.
Do you guys have a particular muse or source of inspiration?

There is a little muse that comes into my house every Tuesday. She is a four year old girl that I babysit. It seems I do my best writing when she is here. As a matter of fact, today I finally finished my sixth edit of my novel. I really hope it will be my last. I started my day tired and not motivated to do anything but I forced myself to work on my novel and did not stop until I was done!
I have written articles with this little girl in the house, and poems too. I sat down one night and tried to write a poem and fell completely blank. Unless I am with my writing group where creativity is flowing, or this little girl is here, I just can't come up with anything.
