If you are not qualified... you have to start at the bottom... do your job well... impress your boss... and make yourself indispensable in order to climb up the ladder. If you are qualified and under paid... just look for another job. But don't leave your job until you have a new one. Everybody exploit everybody. However... if you are good at what you do... people will need you and want you... which gives you control and prevents people exploiting you.

I think it is not easy to have a happy working environment. Perhaps you can find a high paid job, but usually you will have a heavier working pressure and others will have a serious competition.

I know that part of working anywhere is the respect and getting along with colleagues and co-workers, but I think I would definitely have to consider a new place of employment if the pay was too low or not worth what I am making. If I could find another job that paid me more and helped me in the long run, I would probably at least consider it at the least and might have to take it.

The important thing here Cindy is that you have to keep in mind, is how important your family is, (assuming you have children),and how they depend on you to support them, to the best of your ability! Even if you have to sacrifice where you are now, and go to another employment that pays more! I know it's hard, but sometimes you have to do what's more important for you and the family that depends on you! Here is one thing about life:"sometimes you have to step on it's toes, or it will step on your toes!"

Well, no matter how good your colleagues or boss are treating you, in the end, its all about your own survival.. If your wage can't sustain your life, no matter how good they are treating you, it won't help... Either ask for a raise or leave for greener pasture
