I mentioned in some of the other threads about this movies is that it could have been better if the ending was different. The movie painstakingly brought us to feel his loneliness throughout. We were moved by his dedication to find a cure for the virus using his immunity as a base. We felt for him when he had to put down Samantha cos she was infected while trying to save him. And then when he finally met up with other survivors, the mother and son, the pace of the movie starts to pick up. But before that pace can pan out, the movie ends with him sacrificing himself by blowing up the place. Sigh~~~ could have been a better ending.

Is a great movie, I think is one of the best that I saw in the last times, despite the history is "old".. Nothing new.. but it's a great movie.

Yes i have seen it and have it downlaoded on my pc. Its a fantastic movie, but i feel sorry for him at the end a lot. How about you?

Yes, I watched the movie I Am Legend. I found it to be very good. I like Will Smith too. I hear that the book is even better and that in the book the virus that the people get turn them into Vampires, not the monster like things they do in the movie.

I have to say that was one good movie. I watched it last week and had to watch it twice. Now here's the story guideline: It is the year 2012. In the ruins of New York city. Robert Neville who is a military scientist who is the lone survivor of a biochemical disease which was supposed to cure cancer 3 years previous. With only blood thirsty zombies as his neighbors and his trusty dog, Samantha, Robert is trying to discover a cure for this disease and to find out any other people who might have also survived. Written by John Wiggins Robert Neville is a scientist who was unable to stop the spread of the terrible virus that was incurable and man-made. Immune, Neville is now the last human survivor in what is left of New York City and perhaps the world. For three years, Neville has faithfully sent out daily radio messages, desperate to find any other survivors who might be out there. But he is not alone. Mutant victims of the plague The Infected lurk in the shadows. watching Neville's every move... waiting for him to make a fatal mistake. Perhaps mankind's last, best hope, Neville is driven by only one remaining mission: to find a way to reverse the effects of the virus using his own immune blood. But he knows he is outnumbered. and quickly running out of time. For those that haven't watched it, it was best to give more detail of what the movie's about. It was sad though what happened in the end and for his dog to become infected - and yeah living alone for 3 years with just his dog must've been tough.

Just watched it.i have to say it's a little tedium.the virus again!science fiction cliche. 'twelve monkeys' is a better film about this. i love will smith and his movies, especially MIB. those films always combine the thoughts with exciting plot,but not like this. but i think the atmosphere of ruined NY is pretty attractive,and Will is still cool.
