Why do we like music? Our culture immerses us in it for hours each day, andeveryone knows how it touches our emotions, but few think of how music touches other kinds of thoughts. It is astonishing how litil curiosity we have about so pervasive an "environmental" influenc. What might we discover if we were to study musical thinking?

Music is like a poem. It relaxes us every time we feel stress and irritable. It sweeps away all your sorrows and burdens, like a vacuum that swallows it all.

I love to listen to my favourite tunes and sing along. Music makes me feel good! sometimes listening to music and singing helps me takes my mind off the traffic jam and crazy drivers on the road hehehe.. And it can also help me stay awake when I'm feeling sleepy at work haha..

Music... It calms me... It makes me a better musician, a better person, cuz I can appreciate what it takes to produce a piece that moves other people... Much music comes from stuff we R moved by... & I am supposed to write from what I know... So I do... AC Jazz Baby, Jazz!

The effects of music on the brain have actually been researched. Different types of music cause different feelings within individuals. The beats and rythm from the music alter the natural brain-waves of the brain, evoking emotions and moods.
