There are not too many things that we can get for free that are truly worth it but Kraft does have some - their latest addition to their free cookbooks is a series made for diabetics that I just signed up for.

BTW Eating a Diabetic food plan is healthy for anyone
and if you want the regular cookbook

This issue also came with coupons for south beach diet foods

We were looking through today and found a bunch a great recipes so went out and got some needed ingredients. Since dinner was always cooking in the crockpot...we are having a nice dessert tonight

I love the Krafts site - I've used them in the past when I was putting out a newsletter. I haven't been there in awhile but they used to also provide coupons you could print and use in the store. I'll have to check and see if they still do that.

I don't remember seeing any there but I think Betty Crocker does offer some.

That is the way I feel, sometimes you just get in a cooking rut and a new recipe can jump start things and making cooking and eating more enjoyable.

i always used to buy cookbooks and then never use them, so instead i joined allrecipes and printed out my own cookbooks (in a binder) that way, i know i'll actually use the recipes.. if i dont like them, then i toss them!

Well the price is right on here and the one I got this past week had I about $8 worth of coupons, free cookbooks and coupons - that is a win-win situation to me.

Thanks for the 411...I love cookbooks and free ones even better! As a single male, I love to cook. I find that some of my truly enjoyable and romantic dates have been when I've invited a woman to dine in for a home cooked meal concocted by yours truly. If a man can cook well in the kitchen.........hmmmmm......what else can he do well? LOL

Yea, I signed up for these too. I've been getting crats food & family for about 2 years. It has some really good Ideas and comes with coupons about every three months, so then they sent me the diabetic stuff I signed up for that too. I just wish they would do something with gluten free as I am also on a gluten free diet. But I figure I've got a daughter and 2 granddaughters to hand off all my cook books to. I love to cook and I love to read about cook so I have a somewhat large collection of books and magazines about cooking and it keeps getting larger.
