I was saddened to read that Ledger died. Not only because he's a talented actor but also him being young, and the family that he leaves behind. Now a young girl is left without a father. Being an actor does not place his above the public, yet he was a human and all persons of society deserve certain respect at the time of their demise.
I very much look forward to viewing his performance as The Joker in The Dark Knight. And im saddened to learn that we won't be able to receive an ancore.
what are your personal feelings, respecting his death?

I am pretty upset about both Heath Ledger and Brad Renfro's deaths. These are a couple of guys who I thought were so amazing when I was a younger girl reading teenie bopper magazines. I even had the two of them hanging up in my room. It's so sad to see someone so young die when it seems like they should have still had so much life ahead of them. They will be missed. They weren't just famous actors. They were real people with real families and real problems. I feel horrible for them.

I was shocked. I'm still shocked. It is very sad. Unexpected deaths, no matter what the reason, are very tragic. I will miss his work. I'm suprised they mention all his movies except Lords of Dogtown. I liked that one too. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

It's a sad day. Heath was a wonderful actor. I remember seeing a few of his films. I don't believe he killed himself. He had a beautiful 2 year old that was his world. I read somewhere that he was suffering from sleeping problems since making The Dark Knight. That the pills only gave him an hours of sleep. I know sleeping problems, you end up taking more than needed in hopes of getting more than a few hours of sleep. Sad is that he should of went to the doctor when it got this bad. He will be missed.

Very sad indeed! He was a very talented actor. I was also looking forward to his "joker" performance. I guess that will be sad watching the movie now knowing he is not alive.

I only saw him in two films, Brokeback Mountain and Monster's Ball, but I did enjoy his work.
