Mylot has changed, have you noticed?

Last year when I first came on to Mylot, the discussions and questions that people asked prompted good responses. I have not been on this site for a while, but when I came back I noticed that the majority seem to be about earning money online. I can understand that earning money is a big topic, but what kind of response do you give to someone who anounces they got a payment from a website. Another thing is people posting a web address, so they can earn money on a referral. I find it harder and harder to find something decent to respond to. Does anyone else out there finding the same thing, or is it just me?

I just joined about a month ago I suppose, and I find the same thing. People start discussions just to start them. I like to have either a debate about something, or get answers to a legit question I have, or have good responses to something. I just like to talk ;) Soooooooo I challenge you to start a discussion I want to respond to! Oh wait, you already did!

Yes, I've been here active that somehow observed the changes as well. As mylot's popularity increase, it's reputation goes down at the same time. Many have and will come here, only to earn money and post non-sense discussions which seeks a "yes" or "no" answer. Most of the discussions I see came from "make extra money" interest, that I can't understand why people put that on their interests since that's what we're also doing here -aside from discussing. I guess I'm just one helluva mylot member here, still seeking or hoping for something that is already impossible to achieve..

I think it has changed a little as I think a few of the old regulars seem to have moved on which is a shame, I know what you mean about the good topics that no longer seem to in mass, sometimes it is hard to find something to respond to....

Sylvrrain, I have deleted all of the "friends" that I had that were doing this. Not only this, but if someone requests my friendship, I first go to their site and see if that is all they have on their page. If it is, I realize that the only reason they have asked for "friendship" is to garner another lead, so I simply don't accept their offer. ~Donna

I don't know what happened before I got here, but it is still kind of interesting. I think though that there are a lot of people only interested in money, but the cream still rises to the top in a way...
