What happen to the writers of CBS?

The television writers union is still on strike. This effects all networks. All shows will soon be in reruns if they are not already. Networks are arranging for more "reality" shows because they do not use writers. Some shows still have several new episodes left and the networks have begun to spread those out. This is really sad. It is the reason that there was no real Golden Globe show this year - none of the actors would cross the picket lines. Soon the Academy Awards will take place and the same thing may happen again. This is hurting the industry very badly. The fight is over rights to be paid for material written that is used on the internet. There seems to be no agreement in sight!

Almost all of the writers belong to WGA so they are all on strike. Jon Stewart (The Daily Show--Comedy Central) said on his show Monday that the strike may be settled soon.

All the writers are on strike, not just CBS. Production on TV shows stopped a couple months ago. All the new shows they had already done are either already aired, or are about to finish being aired.

I agree with the writers because you can always change actor but not the writers and that's why they should be paid very good for their job. big movie houses get enough money already so they must share. I made it pretty siple here but writer create the show.
