Breakfast in bed

I was thinking that I should make my husband breakfast in bed, for no reason at all. He is a great husband and he deserves it. How often do you do that for your spouse? I use to do it alot but life catches up with you and you find yourself exhausted, but i really will do it this weekend. He hurt himself at work yesterday and he works so hard that he really deserves it. If you were too make breakfast in bed for your spouse this weekend what would you make?

Awe that's so sweet! I always used to do that stuff too, but like you said, life catches up with you. In my case, the 5 kids are running circles around me! ha But anyways, when I did make breakfast in bed for him, I made eggs, toast, hash, bacon and coffee and a cup of milk. He loved it! I'm going to have to do something special for my man this weekend too! He deserves it, he's a great guy! I love him so much.

I've never made breakfast in bed, because my husband almost always wakes up before I do. I usually make breakfast on the weekends, waffles and sausage. I should try to make omelettes sometime though. One problem is that my husband worked as a short order cook in high school, so he makes a lot of breakfast foods better that I do. For a special breakfast I would make waffles with whipped cream and fruit, sausage and bacon, with a glass of milk and a cup of coffee.

I understand. My husband is a way better cook than I am but he does enjoy breakfast in bed. I try my best and it fills him up. LOL. But he is usually up before me as well but sometimes Our youngest gets me up and out of bed so hopefully it will be like that this weekend. Thats what I'm hoping for anyways!!!! Plus since he has been working longer hours he has been sleeping in on the weekends more!

That was so caring and thoughtful. I would love to make my honey breakfast in bed but I can't possibly be awake enough at 4:00 a.m. to do anything, especially concerning fire and possibly knives....LOL If I was able to function that early I would make his favorite; an overstuffed omelet with sausage, ham, cheese, jalapeƱos,onions, mushrooms and tomatoes. Served with warm flour tortillas and a big cup of hot coffee.
