Guinea 3 - 2 Morocco

Pascal Feindouno - Pascal Feindouno lead his team to victory today, even if he was sent off.

This was seen as a decisive match in the fight for a place in the quarters. Guinea needed a victory to keep up the hope. The first half was one of struggle in midfield, after Feindouno scored from a free kick. Balde made some mistakes in defense, but they managed to keep the one goal advantage. The second half started with a cascade of goals, Guinea scoring twice and Morocco once in only 3 minutes. After a good match, Feindouno was shown the red card and left his team to manage for another 25 minutes. Morocco sent all their guns on Kemoko's goal, but the two goal distance was enough, even if Morocco scored once in the 90st minute. Morocco needs a draw against Ghana to qualify, while Guinea will probably beat Namibia without any problems. And let me say that Guinea is starting to look more and more like a team ready to challenge the Cup this year.

I've got more bad news: The group stage is over and Morocco failed to qualify... Ghana and Guinea go through.

Except for when we have a draw :) Anyway, Morocco still has a chance, if they beat Ghana. But, in my humble opinion, that's a big "if"!
