do you think internet causes neglection of real social life?

Internet has taken over all the world and now many new social formations are beginning to appear which is not actually natural. (we cannot sense that kind of social lives with our 5 senses directly)
Do you think that would effect the world society in a negative way? Would that lead to a society that doesn't actually know how to interract in real? What about kids?

I don't look at the interent as being a negative influence I see it as a different but positive influence, it has opened up the world in a wonderful way, I have seen lives being changed, I have seen lives being brought together because of it, people are learning in a different way, I know I have learnt so much, it is just up to people to adapt to the different way things are done and take the good out of it and leave the negatives alone, that is the same in everything in life anyway... I embrace the internet, for me it has been a life saver.
