Do you have any pages you want to share with the rest of us? Swap ideas or anything like that? I am open to new ideas or approaches to scrapping! If I show you mine will you show me yours? LOL

Hey there! I hope you're doing well. I have some of my stuff on www.scrappinsistersaz.com I wish I had a way to scan my 12 x 12 pages. I was able to do it at Recollections for free, but they are closing down, so I don't know what I am going to do. Where can I find examples of your work. I would love to look at it. I also save all the memorabilia from trips as well. I try to spray it with Archival Mist or make sure it is in an envelope to protect the paper and photos.

I'll have to look for it! I scrap alot of newspaper articles....and I don't have a place on the net where you can find my pages....I have tried to upload some here but I am not having any luck so I'll try again later and see if it works. I do cards and they are on my blog http://totouchaheart.blogspot.com

Archival Mist makes all paper acid free. It safely protects paper, it's non-toxic, non-flammable, no CFC's, no HCFC's (what ever that is) and no solvents. You spray it on your paper and it deposits a safe, permanent aklaline buffer to neutalize acid in all types of paper. It's pretty neat stuff. One bottle has lasted me for a long time. I use it mostly on newspaper articles that I have scrapbooked.

I don't have a scrap book but I have a good idea.Take a picture of your child and surround it with his/her school papers.Example, take his/her 2nd grade picture and his/her artwork from second grade and make a collage of the artwork and put the picture in the middle.

Scrapbooking is not my "bag." Our daughter gave me a book along with some photos already in place. I just can't get into it. Doesn't interest me even though it looks great when finished. Have seen finished books on television and at someone's house. I can only enjoy working with plastic canvas or knitting. Since myLot came into view, I am behind doing anything for craft fairs this summer. But, I have my priorities...lol

Ok, I don't have anything to show but I can explain! One of my favorite things to do is put folded brocheres in my scrapbook. For example, when I went to disneyland, we circled every ride and show in the pamphlet that we saw that day. Then I glued it (folded) in my book. It only takes up 1/3 of the page and it can be pulled open to see the whole map of the park and everything we did. I also like doing other things to expand my pages like use bday cards I got from others and put pictures on the outside and the inside. I try to fit as much on some pages as possible.

Great idea! I sometime forget to save those important things like even napkins when I go someplace special with my family! But doing the brochures is a great idea!

Thanks! I'm in full scrapbook mode everywhere I go. I take EVERYTHING even if I don't think I can actually put it in the book. Then, after I complete that page later, I'll throw out things that I couldn't use.
