halo 3 or call of duty 4?

people says that call of duty 4 is making a competition with halo 3 tosee which is the best multi player game on xbl, in my opinion cod4 is way more realistic but halo3 is more fun to play what do you think?

I haven't played call of duty but we have the Halo games (including halo 3). The family loves Halo. It's a lot of fun to play and I really like the graphics.

they're both completely different types of shooters but i still like halo 3. i'd rather jump in the action like a badass than crouch around in the grass.

I played COD before Halo 3, so I'm prone to liking that one best. I enjoy Halo 3, but I've only played a few times and I"m not very good. On the other hand, I beat COD4 from beginning to end on my own (first game I've ever completely beat...I'm not a gaming chick) and I can sit and play online COD for hours. I finally prestiged the last time they had double XP weekend, lol. I'm not very good, but I love to play.

Funny I should come across this discussion right now. I am listening to gunfire as I type. My husband loves to play Call of Duty 4 on XBox Live with his friends from work. We have Halo 3 coming from Gamefly soon. He loved the other Halo games so we will see which he likes better after he has played both.

i havent played call of duty 4 before but halo roxcks! i love this game, its the best game ever, but i will try call of duty 4 soon. and i think its pretty good too.

ive personally never been into the the Call of Duty series, but I love Halo, i dont really care for Halo 2 because its too short, but my brother absoulty loves it, ive heard good things about Halo 3 and if i do ever get an X-box 360 thats one of the games i really want, because i love playing coop on the Halo series with my brother, but im kinda skeptical about getting a 360 cause of all the problems ive had with my X-box.

I actually like both games! Halo is better though, because COD4 has too many people hiding behind something just waiting there for you to walk in... Not that great. You know what game beats both of those? SOCOM!!! SOCOM confrontation is coming out for the PS3 in September! I cant wait!
