Do you like touch screens?

I'm not too fond of them, or cell phones in general. I like normal buttons and keys. I know how much more versatile and convinient touch screens can be, but I can't fully trust them for some reason. :0

I like touch screens because it will have a pen to input words. And I think I can type message faster than pressing the cellphone buttons.

I really haven't tried touch screen mobile phones. I used to want to have one when it was still new to the market. But from the feedbacks I am hearing I drop that thought. I think touch screens can be convenient in a way but i think that it has more down side in to it.

I like touch screen devices. It is so high tech. I like those that have buttons. But I like both. I would want my cellphone to be touch screen.

No I don't like them one bit because they're full of germs from other people touching the screens. I know there is purell hand sanitizer that we can use afterwards and that's all well and good but I hate touching something that's dirty to begin with. Other than that, I wouldn't mind them if there was a way to clean it before I touched it. eeewwww. lol

Its just a gimmick really, i suppose it depends how much functionality you really need from your phone/PDA/PMP. I had a rediculous PDA smart phone with all the bells n whistles, large touch-screen widescreen panel, in the end it was just too much hassle, basic tasks like taking down a number took longer than they should due to the new interface, and ontop of that, the unit was pretty fragile due to having to protect the screen. These days i use a very simple but elegant nokia model made of steel/glass. Its near unbreakable, and does everything a phone should do, quickly and easily ;P

I think I prefer keys too. I have a touch screen on my cell (iPhone) and yesterday I was trying to use the phone & had to use my lips to activate the touch because I had gloves on & they don't work with gloves. Just couldn't beat the price of the iphone....
