Well I got my hair cut last night! Took more than 6 inches off! I told the lady I wanted it inverted, longer in the front and very easy to manage. Well its short in the back and has some long stuff in the front as well as hort stuff that i didn't want Plus I have to use a flat iron on it in the morning to get it to look half decent. I think it is my hair type, It is wavy and very thick and she tried to thin it and I think she just messd it up. Has this ever happened to you? I think I will like it if I style it a bit but I really wanted to be able to just wash and go!!!What would you do or have you done?

A good hairdresser would have walked you through a few different styles for this cut. And also would have suggested good products that would be useful for you to use. I know exactly what cut you are talking about. It's very cute. It would be a lot easier and quicker if you go out and buy a wet to dry flat iron. It dries your hair and straightened it at the same time. It saves quite a bit of time but they are a little costly. They start around 119 dollars. Also you can pick up a straightening shampoo. I use st ives straightening shampoo and that only cost around 3 dollars and 50 cents. it will help with taking the wave out of your hair.

I will have to try that shampoo I have used the Sauve stuff that is really good plus the avon smooth and silky which is good to. I also would like to try the new head and shoulders citrus breeze...I'm going shopping this weekend so i will be getting new shampoo FOR SURE!!!!!Also any tips on dying hair. I have a few grays that I need covered up, I tried last month and it has already washed out and it was permament...dang i can't spell. I was hoping that dying it would calm down my hair some as well....But i need a really good brand!

hair dying. The number 1 rule is when you wash your hair after you color it do not wash it in steaming hot water. Hot water will open the hair follicles which will lead to fading or wash out all of the color. try to use luke warm water instead. For hair coloring I usually use loreal excellence creme. I do my mom's hair with this brand as well. She has some gray and this seems to stay in the longest for her. Also when coloring you hair make sure you put the color or your roots and your gray spots first. THis way the coloring will be sitting on these spots the longest. They are sell color shampoos which you should use once a week. It helps to keep your coloring vibrant and helps cut down on the fading.

oh yea almost forgot, when coloring your hair it's always best to color it before you wash it that day. Color seems to hold best to the hair when the hair is not freshly washed. So yes even if you use mouses, gels or hair spray color your hair with this stuff already in your hair.
