what happened to ptc sites?

what happened to the ptc sites? why has paypal sort of abandoned them?
the ptc sites that i am a member of are all having problems with paypal. what gives? what is going on in the industry?
can anybody enlighten me on this?

It's in Paypal TOS since long that Pyramidal schemes are not allowed.
That's why eGold were used in the primary place.

yea, egold is usually preferred for everything but it seems so much more difficult to use than paypal.
So I guess before long Yuwie is going to have to use only checks because thats pyramidal
