My kids arent little ones anymore (they're 14 1/2 and almost 13) BUT we still hang out and play games together or draw etc etc....I wouldnt have it any other way... LOL I use to LOVE when my kids were little and they'd make up the rules as we went along AND change them midgame LOL

I would have to say that when my children were at the age of playing games, I did sit down with them and play. Poker was not one of my stronger points as far as card games, but did give it my best. I was more at home with "grab" or I think it was called "snap" lol Must admit we did have a lot of fun, some of the board games were also good and Monopoly was maybe the one used most. Although as today, I still cannot budget and would never dream of buying all that property! lol

Hi suehan1, I like playing with my son during his childhood. Other than playing badminton, we do go swimming and picnic regularly to a nearby water fall pool. We built sand castles or threw stones to the surface of the water. We did enjoy our country drive together with my husband every weekend. Sometimes we flew a kite in a windy day at the field. There were lots of fun to play with our kid and this also could strengthen our intimate relationship.

its great to get out on family outings.and definately a great way to strenghten those family ties.we live about 2 minutes from the beach and we go there all the time.my son loves to build sand castles.the problem is he does not take the little plastic spade,he has to take the big garden spade down to the beach.people just look and i just laugh.i suppose he figures the bigger the sand castle the better.cheers sue

There are only two of us in the apartment... so i am her only playmate when we are at home... i usually drop her to her grandmother's house everytime i go to work... I consider playing with her as a form of quality time... where we can bond... and she can develop a lot of her skills... i even watch cartoons with her and listen to music with her...

My kids are all grown up but when we get together we do still play games. I play lots of games with my little granddaughter. She is 2 1/2 and I have this octopus game where you start the tendicals with cardboard peices .....on one side they are like dominos and the others you have to match the colors..she loves the game. We also play ants in the pants! She also like doing that. It's fun for everyone involved! I bet you are having a blast with your son!
