I hate complicated math. I just use basic everyday math for everyday uses - eg. budgeting.

Complicated math makes my brain hurts. Basic math is okay since its something useful people have to know how to do or else they'll get scammed by people. I like basic math because it can be done on regular calculators. Haven't used a scientific caluclator in about a year. I'm so glad I don't have math senior year. I've forgotten how to use most of the features on it already. .I mean who needs imaginary numbers and logs besides math teachers? I've hated every math teacher I had in high school.

I've always loved math: from simple kindergarten math all the way to multivariable calculus. I guess that's why I'm a math major ^^

I like maths from the very beginning. Well math is very interesting and very useful to our everyday living, not just in financial way but in relating math to real life situations. It will also build-up our capability to make decisions. My interest in Math becomes deeper when I reach in college and I found a teacher who is always having her problems in math related to real life situations. I just find it amazing because very rare people has the ability to transform math sentences in relation to real life situation.

I know I'm gonna sound like a nerd, but I really like maths! Throughout highschool I had mostly really great teachers and I've always been really good at maths-i have a logical, sciency mind... and now I'm at university, continuing my study in maths. I hated it at first here, because we didn't have the greatest lecturers and it seemed very difficult, but all that changed and now i think i'm gonna major in maths (along with my engineering course)! :)

This is actually a very good question as everyone who went to school would be able to answer this or relate to the experience. When i was in high school, i hated math... er... numbers. I hated algebra and calculus. When I got to college, I realized that algebra really was not that hard.....maybe my professor in high school just gave a very fast lecture... Maybe I just could not catch up. In college, I did pretty well with numbers, and graduated from business school with accounting subjects. Now I am back to school, taking up nursing and facing numbers again.... this time, in dosage calculations and IV fluid computations. So I guess the problem is not the subject of Math itself, but in the manner in which it is being taught. If only more math professors would take more time to explain and give more examples... then maybe... just maybe more students would come to appreciate the magic of MATH.

I see it as a necessary evil, personally. I'm okay at it, but I wouldn't choose a math class over a literature or psychology class. Although I do kind of like geometry. It doesn't seem like it's a math at times.

i hate mathematic like hell......... i got a chance to choose between mathematics and other subjects in my 11th class and i choose mathematics. fortunately i passed my 11th and 12th paper somehow by scoring just passing percentage. i thought i would get through with that in engineering too but flunked thrice in the same semester. now i realize it all depends on the interest. i don't like maths so i never bother to touch the book until one day ahead of the exam thus i flunked. hopefully i have passed 12th so i have many options to choose from for my degree course and now i am doing multimedia.... i suggest u in case of compulsion pass it anyhow otherwise just get ride of it by diverting into other courses...... there is no meaning studying a subject u don't like.....

I was always working so hard to be average in math during elementary school, and finally in junior high they taught me algebra. It explained everything they were trying to teach me before, and I excelled in both math and algebra ever since. Even now at 50 years of age I dazzle co-workers figuring out problems using algebra. But for real commercial value I think I need to learn statistics and calculus.

I used to love Math (that's why I am studying at a school for math-gifted students). But now, I find that many things are more important than it. However, it's still a passion. ^^

LOVE math; life is mathematical, as is our very existence. Taking a math class right now, Dosage Calculations (pre-RN course). This is a simple, basic math class... Math is WONDERFUL.... JMHO!! Katt

I love maths, but some of the harder stuff really hurts my brain. But if I understand it, I like it.
