what is the best color of dress to be used for engagement

i have been to a fashion designer a while ago, he designed the dress that i will be wearing on my engagement day...he let me choose the color and i chose pink...for you, what is the color of dress that best suits the engagement party?

My preference is baby pink and pista green. In our family, boy's side only bring engagement dress. For me they brought majenda which was not suiting me that well. Hence for my son's engagement, I never wanted my would be d'law to feel the same way. So I took her to a shop of her own choice and bought dress of her own choice and she was so happy. Best wishes for a Happy Engagement Day and a Happy Married Life.

Oh I would always pick Lilac as I do in nearly everything, although any colour is good if it sparkles, i love lots of sparkles....
