How cranky do your kids get when they have a sleep ver? My step daughter had one of her friends stay here last night and they were up till 1 in the morning.I know because i was up too watching a movie. My step daughter is VERY cranky this morning. Sarcastic, rude and everything. I remeber being tired but i don't think I was cranky after a sleep over and my 7 year old isn't that cranky either. But my step daughter is off the radar...Just wondering how everyone elses kids react to little sleep!!!She is 11 by the way.

I was a cranky one too when I was younger and had sleepovers...I would have at least one fight w/ my friends too. Thinking about it, I think it is because I was a little spoiled being the baby and my brother being 6 years older. I was just used to having thing my way and having a lot of attention. So, when I had company, I would just show my little tail trying to be grown. I always ended up punished in some way by the end of a sleepover. lol!!!

Oh no, you must not have enjoyed having sleep overs then!!!I wouldn't have. I use to love the whole thing but then again my mom was really laid back and we wouldn't have to clean up or do anything like that till late in the afternoon. We would sleep in really late like 12 or 1 in the afternoon. she won't sleep in so i guess that might be some of her problem.

I remember when I had sleepovers when I was younger I was always crabby the next day. And it almost always ended up with me and my friend getting into at least one fight. Lol I guess that's just the nature of sleep-overs. But it's normal...that's why parents should try to limit the number of sleep-overs lol.

We do limit them for sure. She doesn't have many sleep overs at her moms home cause most of her friends live by our house because she goes to school by our house. Plus she had a really bad one a few months ago at her moms and she hasn't had one since then So we figured it was about time here. But my goodness she is CRANKY!!!!lol. I don't know if it is worth it for her or for us. Its fine when they are staying up and having a blast but then they get up tooooo early for them to be civil its not worht it!!!
