Getting your blog known?

I finally made a blog and I visited Google to add it to their list of sites, so when people look for earning money online they see my blog in the list of sites. But when I searched my blog in Google it didn't appear. I even wrote the exact sentences between "" and nothing, my blog didn't appear. What can Ido?

It is a good thing that you want to get your blog known.
Im a semi pro at this and i know a few tricks,
What you just did was wrong, you should not add your blog manually, you should get a link from another blog or website, do a link exchange

I would also like to enter my blog could you tell me how you did it thanks also you should add your blog to your mylot profile that would help with getting traffic to your blog i put mine in my profile and i get about 5 mylot hits a day as of now
