I get bored eating and making the same dishes for my family. Where do you all find new meal ideas?

I get a lot of new recipes out of magazines (like Everyday with Rachel Ray), watching food TV and through the foodtv.com website.

Have you ever tried any of Rachel Ray's 30 minute meals?

allrecipes is awesome...a lot of times i will use their "search by ingredient" search and just put in what I have on hand. I usually don't follow too many recipes, I use them for inspiration. i have to be careful what I try though, my hubby is pretty picky!

there are alot of recipe resources over the internet. you can even search for a renowned chef and check their recipes and make one for your family. you can try rachel ray (my personal favorite), wolfgang puck, or any chef whose style interests you.

I get new recipes from everywhere. I like magazines like country woman, taste of home, woman's day, family circle. They are always packed with good recipes, especially the taste of home. I like websites like allrecipes.com, campbells.com, bettycrocker.com, tasteofhome.com and kraft.com. They have tons of good stuff. At Kraft.com they have a free recipe magazine you can sign up for. I look forward to getting it every couple of months. Also, of course, cookbooks. You don't even have to spend a ton of money on them, just go to your local library. That's what I do :) Eva

Yes, I like to look for new recipes in magazines. There was also an email going around with some of my friends that you had to add a new recipe too. I got alot of great ideas from that. Also, my married daughter has found some from her friends and co workers, etc and passes them along to me. I like to cook different, interesting and colorful meals for my husband. However, when the grandkids are over, it is just kraft dinner and hotdogs is about all they will eat, along with a good supply of raw vegetables and fruits!

I search the web for new ideas. Watch TV and it's commercials. I read magazines. I talk to people (like this) on the web. Sometimes, I join a recipe group and keep reading through their recipes until I can come up with some good ideas for new foods.
