Does anyone know of any free 3d MMORPG's (preferrably without a download or a short download)?

Anarchy Online has a lot of free content. Not all of it is free but you can get to level 200 for free. But it is a big download though.

That is true: It is a fairly large download, but the free content is growing and growing. I'm on a paid account, and I'm actually going back to do the free content because it's actually not bad. You can even upgrade the account in the future to add on the Shadowlands expansion for just $5 a month now, since it's a new option (Or, alternately, go full bore, and upgrade to Shadowlands, Alien Invasion and Lost Eden for $15 a month).

I think most of them require some kind of download in order to play. I'm not sure how big the download is, but Dungeon Runners is fun (and very tongue-in-cheek - when you start out you might find yourself equipped with tissue paper armor and a sword made of cardboard).

Since you say MMORPG, I assume you mean something turn-based like an adventure style game. Try Dream of Mirror Online, Fly For Fun (Flyff for short), or even Gunz Online. There are a few really high quality Pirate and Conquest games out there, too, if you look hard enough.
