HELP ! I'm trapped in Little Rock AR

A rare opportunity to meet redyellowblackdog in person exists for the next 3 hours. I'm trapped in Little Rock AR at the LaQuinta Inn on Broadway street for the next 3 hours. No, I don't have a room. I'm in the lobby using the public access computer. I'm waiting on my wife who is attending a conference in the Inn's meeting room.
So, until about noon CST Sunday, January 27, 2008, anyone who wants can come by and meet in person, and even have a cup of coffee with redyellowblackdog. Big deal, eh?

Only sndcain, as she mentioned in the previous response.
What happened is that I smiled while saying "Hello good lookin, I'm redyellowblackdog" and then I barked convincingly several times. Then she ran away. I don't know what the problem was.

If not rabies shots, at least I should have wiped the drool off my face. That's probably what the problem was.

If I were closer to you, I'd be glad to come meet you and have a drink with you. You've got some great discussions and a wonderful outlook on life and it'd be my honour to meet you.
But it's also about a 6 hour drive from Dallas to Little Rock.
If you're going through Russelville on the way home, you can stop by and say hi to my sister.

Thank you for that. I do know where Russellville is, having been an independent trucker for over 8 years full time and a part time trucker for many years after that.
Unfortunately, I'm going straight north out of Little Rock.
I really appreciate the great discussions compliment and outlook on life statement. Believe it or not, there are those who would disagree with you!
Maybe we should start a "Four and under club" for those of us with distinctive hard to obtain lower than average ratings? You know, anyone could respond or comment, but high rated people would not be able to belong 'officially'.
We could even print out certificates to hang on our walls!

I'm with you on that. My rating actually rose last night 4 points and I didn't even post. Maybe I aught to give it up and just quit posting and before long, I'll be at a 10, only to post once and my rating will bomb back down to a 2.

Hello redyellowblackdog,
It seems that I missed the opportunity! I would really like to meet every single person that I have ever interacted with on here. Call me conservative, but I don't think that online meeting even with all that conferencing technology can ever get close to a personal face to face on ground contact. Maybe some day I'll have the chance to meet some people from mylot!:-)

Ontario CA! I use to fuel there all the time when I was a trucker. That was back in the late 1970's and thru the mid 1980's. Sometimes I would wait there for the traffic to die down before going into L.A.

Addicted! Addicted ? I'm not addicted. I can quit anytime I want. In fact, all the way home I did not type even one Post, Response, or Comment. Even after arriving home I did not even log on until after my computer booted up. Jeesh... addicted! Indeed! I don't think so.

I would have very much enjoyed the opportunity to visit with you while you waited for Mrs. Redyellowblackdog. Oh and incidentally, I think it's really very sweet that you travelled with the Mrs. for her conference. I imagine that's a real point earner.
So, it would seem that I missed this opportunity to share a cup of cocoa with you. I'll just have to be better prepared to be spontaneous the next time. (ar, ar, ar)
I got stuck in Little Rock a few years back. I was driving cross country, when my truck started acting up. I made my way to the dealership, and was back on the road again in no time flat. That's the extent of my experiences in Little Rock. Though I'd like to make a point of commending the customer service orientation of the dealership personnel. They were very professional!

Well, my wife and I are kinda use to travel together. From 1977 thru 1985 we traveled on average over 125,000 miles per year for a total well over 1,000,000 miles total together while pushing an 18 wheeler all across the USA.
