I know that being hurt and betrayed in a relationship is the worst thing. you trust someone so much and then you have them hurt you. although you love them, do you forgive and take them back, just so to make you happy for the now, or do you let them go and think of the long run ahead?

I suppose the 'right' thing to do is think of the long run. If they have done something that you don't think you can ever truly get over, then I say no, don't take them back. If it was something that wasn't such a big deal after all, then try to make things work.

I do forgive and try to forget or act like I've forgotten. Sadly many people will only take advantage or think you are weak and comes back again. If it's someone you love the best is let go for your own good.
