does anyone have any good ideas or recipes for breakfast on the go? My son goes to pre-school and since it is early in the morning he does not always have time to eat breakfast...other times I grab him some pretzles or a granola bar or a pop-tart for in the car...but that hardly seems healthy!! the easier it is to make the better - something that can be made in advance :) thanks!

hi vera when i am in a hurry i quickly make my son a cheese sandwich, grab some fruit and a popper (fruit juice) and he happily munches while i drive the car.i have a travel mug and we sometimes make a drink in them as well.you could make up a few sandwiches or cut up some fruit the night before,so you just have to grab them on your way out the door.cheers sue

you can make some simple bread with cheeze or hotdogs since children like hotdogs and some juice or chocolate drinks and put also some apples in the lauchbox:-)

My favorite is a sweet potato smoothie, and conveniently I just happened to write an article about it on one of my blogs: http://www.squidoo.com/JJtatershake Thanks for asking!
