How many people use facebook? and what do you use it for? i know there are hundreds of applications that you can use

I joined Facebook a few days ago because I would like to see my friend's photos. However, due to some reasons I am unable to see it. So I don't like Facebook.

I use it similar to MySpace. MySpace lets me communicate a little more easier via the comments or the PMs and I know more people with MySpace than Facebook. HOWEVER, there are some of my friends that don't like MySpace and only have a Facebook account, so I use that to keep in touch/find other people. I'm not really sold on all of the Facebook applications because you have to send an invite (or spam, as it's called) 15-20 of your friends just to see your results from a silly quiz. I DON'T like that. There are pros and cons to each site. As for your problem with Facebook, you need to ask your friend if they can change their settings to allow you to view their photos.

I use facebook every once in a while just to see how all my high school buddies are doing. I use Myspace on the otherhand daily because I have more friends on there that don't have a facebook. Facebook is fun to look at all the pictures of your friends and see what they up to. I personally do not like all those applications though.
