How about heart-shaped pancakes on the griddle for breakfast on valentines day...something about the quickest way to a man's heart is through his tummy?

Men are so hard to buy or make things for on Valentine's Day. It is hard to suggest something without knowing his likes or dislikes but here are a few suggestions. Why not buy a small photo album and cover it with cloth in his favorite color or print pattern featuring something he likes. You can fill it with pictures from things you have done together or places you have gone together. On the front you could make a small sign that says "The Happiest Times of My Life". It will not only bring back memories of times you spent together but also tell him how much you enjoyed those times. Another idea, if he is a reader or collector of books is to make him a set of bookends. Use a 1" x 6 board and cut 4 pieces off that are 6" long. Make two "L" shaped pieces by connecting two pieces together. Stain or paint them and then decorate them with a theme he would enjoy. I made a set dealing with horses for my sweetie and they were perfect. There are lots of things you could come up with dealing with his likes, interests and hobbies. Hope this helps.

I posted something similar last year for men to reply and most men relpied that they don't nessicarily care too much about reciving gifts on valentines' like women do. If he's not really romantic just buy him something you know he will like that is in his taste rather some mushy teddy bear or roses. I buy my hubby his favorite candy each year and a nice card. I also treat him nicely fix his favorite mean when he gets and when the kids go to bed. If you also are poetic you can find a nice background paper and frame it. Have some pics made of yourself exclusively for him not trashy just something personal for his eyes only.Good luck and hope this helps.
