How many times you have written a response to a discussion and when after a while you try to go back to that topic you find that it has been deleted. This has happened to me few times and now I am very careful in replying to discussions , specially those ones that I think violate myLot discussion guidelines. It is better for me as well because it is going to save my time . Do you keep this in mind when you write your responses ?

I dont knowingly respond to these discussions but if it is some thing i feel strongly about then i will probably respond to it without worrying about it being deleted

Hello dear friend. I avoid responding to discussions that violate mylot discussion guidelines, because I do not want to waste my time and energy on them, which is not worth it. But sometimes it is a little hard to judge because sometimes I cannot see anything in the discussion that violated mylot guidelines. Anyway, it is a good way to be careful while responding to discussions.

Yes I agree that sometimes discussions get deleted for no reason.Maybe because someone in his / her response violated the discussion guidelines. No one actually can predict this outcome so this is something that is unavoidable.

Definitely not for me, I always choose carefully the discussions I respond to ever since learning those guidelines. Though there are still rare occasions where I loose a post or somewhere from the discussions I've responded to, that I guess there are things I still don't understand here on mylot. Like using some words that I don't why falls under the category of explicit words or mature words, this were not that much explained so I just have to let go of those. I guess that's why my number of post are just quite a few until now, even though I am always active here. I got so carefree that it slows me down from posting, but atleast, I get to enjoy my time here and that's the important thing for me..

This has occured a few times to me. I try not to respond to discussions that obviously fail the guidelines, but this is not always obvious. On the rare occassion I have responded to a discussion that appears completly genuine, & then have it disappear,m thus loosing a point.

This has happened to me as well.Later when I investigated with others who replied to that discussion , I came to know that someone has violated the guidelines in his / her responses as a result the whole discussion was wiped out. This is really unfair to the person who created a valid discussion in accordance with the myLot TOS.

It happened that I responded to discussions with referral links but not anymore. Some topics you have to abandon because there is the risk someone uses the discussion to post a link with the best of the intentions but you know the result.

Actually I do respond to discussions that violate the mylot guidelines....Only to find out later that the discussions were removed, together with my replies.. So now, I try not to respond to such discussions anymore....since they are a waste of my time if they are going to be removed anyway
