Will Sehwag be Man of the Match at the Adelaide test

As you all should know by now, Sachin walked away with the man of the match award. I felt it a bit unfair to Sehwag. He did bat well in both the first and second innings. His total score is more than that by Sachin. He took two important wickets to curtail Australia, including the wicket of the centurion Ricky Ponting. His second innings 150+ was a great knock and without this knock Australia would have won easily. He not only occupied the crease, but also ensured that the runs are coming quick to deny Aussies any last minute chance. I do agree that Sachin played a very good first innings. But, Sehwag deserved the award. With Irfan Pathan winning the previous man of the match, it would have been great to see two comeback men winning the man of the match awards in style.

well yes he was a string candidate for the same but things went other way. but still he played a very important role in this match and it is very good to see him back in form and that is what is required from such a player. i am very much concerend with the young team of india for the one day series and i dont know why i feel they will loose the series badly because they have selected players who are not in form and also they are not at all acustoemed to the conditions there in AUS. and they dropped players who performed well and were familiar with teh conditions there.

I am think he should get the man of the match award ..he did good in both the innings ..made century and really helpded indian side ...other wise they would have crashed ..So he defenitely will be strong candidate from the man of the match awrd ...c heers
