They are talking of nameing a new hockey team that will be coming in to replace the Toledo Storm that will no longer be a team here. The Toledo Sports Arena, which has been here FOREVER has been torn down and they are rebuilding downtown near the newer baseball field. The Sports Arena was here forever and I was there for hockey, the circus, concerts, Holiday on Ice, roller derby and any number of other things over the years. My dad even worked there, but the hockey games not being there will be the most missed. It sure won't be the same from a new arena and with a new name.
