Hello all,
I am happier today as I started my day with three good news. Well, it is not that important to others but to me, those news really made my day *smiles*
Right after I reached my office, I saw my long lost friend waiting for me. We have not met each other after finishing our secondary education (which was almost 20 years ago) Of course she came to my office for official purpose but we were surprised to see each other. We talked a bit and exchanged our current contact number.
10 minutes later, I received a call from another lost long friend. She tried her luck to contact me at my office as she only got my old hand phone number. She was happy that I could recognize her voice though we have not met for more than 10 years.
While talking to her on the phone, I saw my online friend here. She is also My Lot member *smiles*. She told me another good news about herself. Oh, yes! Even though she is just an online friend, I treat her like my real life friend too. I am really happy for her and hope that she will be happier in future and whatever she has planned for, will be a reality soon *smiles* To that special person, I think you know that I am talking about you here and quick, tell us the good news!

wow. that's a really nice string of events that happened to you. its really fun to meet good ol' friends especially if the meeting is unexpected and unplanned. i'm happy for you. ^__^
is that wondericequeen you are talking about? or a different member? coz i came across one of her discussions that sais she's engaged and she seemed so happy about it. ^__^

well, roses are all nice and your avatar is a pink rose and i like it. ^__^ i love the color pink!
i read her discussion about how the proposal went and i really laughed over it. ^__^;; of all the things that his bf will forget, why did it have to be the ring! LOL i asked her in a private message where she might be moving after 6 months but i guess she thought i knew her ex-bf online stalker so she didn't tell me. ^__^;;

I advised her not to reveal too much *smiles* She is afraid that her ex will know about her plan. So we need to respect her decision. Just hope that she can experience the most wonderful day of her life. I am happy for her and yes, how about you, dear? Any good news to share with us here?

*laughs* That last person you mentioned must be ME! Yes I have good news and I am still struggling if I should tell here in the world wide web. Of course I want all my dear friends here to know my status but the thing is, I have a psycho ex hunting me online. *laughs* are you glad that you are the first person to know around here?

You are right. In fact months ago, I had three bad lucks in a row *laughs* Definitely it won't do me any good but I guess, that's life. I am just content with my life. There are minor problems here and there but then again, that's what we call life, right?

Wow, it is like hitting three birds with one stone...meeting old friends that you haven't seen for years is and event to celebrate about... so i am glad that your week started very nicely for you... who knows... you might meet more old friends within the week... i wonder what the good news is about your mylot friend... i hope that person is also in my friends list so that i can congratulate her...

I am really happy for you, gr8life, I know how it feels to run into an old friend like that!
I,myself made contact with a friend I haven't seen in 40yrs!
He was one of my closest friends, and apparently a year before we graduated, he joined the military, and I never saw him again 'til last week! But I never forgot him, and he didn't forget me, because he came to look me up! We talked for two hours straight, catching up on eveything!

Thanks for sharing your memorable experience here. Finding a long lost friend is something very special. I don't have much time to look for them and I don't even know where to start looking for my old buddies. They are all over the places. Amazing thing is that, I never bumped into any of them in the past years and surprisingly, in just a few minutes, in a day...I found two of them *smiles*

Well, today was a good day for me because I didn't have the alarm clock waking me up. I got to sleep in for the first time in forever. I love days like this. Yea, I had to get up and let the dog out to potty, but it was warmer out and he wanted to play with the other dogs so I got to climb back into my bed and zonk back out. I cherish days like this because they just don't happen very often.
The problem is, when I do sleep in, I have trouble getting motivated to do anything. That was not a good thing today, as it's the warmest it's been in over a month and I could have gotten some work done in the barn, but tomorrow should be warmer so I'll dedicate part of my day to that, the rest to the regular grind of dogs, horses, laundry and housework, and get in a few posts here on mylot.
