http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/reuters/080124/tecnology/tech_davos_gates_col_1 One of the richest people on earth Bill Gates spoke about creative capitalism, a capitalism that will help fight global poverty. I think this is a fair idea, that the rich doesn't fear losing their big bucks and yet the poor is not left behind. I know some people argue that poor people have a lot of children and yet can not afford their food and education so the poor gets poorer. I don't agree to this argument but then again all I am asking is your opinion about Creative capitalism. The whys and hows can wait..

I am still missing the point. We need to make sure in America first to make fee access to health care for all and better education. World poor need education as well.I wish he will open his eye to see poverty in his own country.

didn't he say Global though? I am not saying that there is no poverty in the US or Canada, but we are not the poorest countries at this moment

I am not sure what is on his mind. We have many poor people in US for sure, I don't know about Canada. Rich country with so many poor people who can not afford to have dinner. In many countries they take care of you if you sick without asking you for your credit card. There are levels of poverty for sure, but many kids are hungry in US, more than Gate knows. Global? yes, there are many countries with poor people but extreme rich government. Those who rule in every country are wasting our money instead helping own people. It is more complicated that we think.
