5 yrs ago I had a baby by C-Section, My son was born with a congenital heart defect and I was stressed. About 4 days after my son was born the Dr. Removed the staples from the C-section. 15 mins later while getting up out of a wheelchair the C-Section wound BURST open and blood and fluid hit the floor with a splash. The Dr decided that he was not closing the wound and it would be packed and heal from the inside out. I was discharged that day, I stayed at the Ronald McDonald house as my baby was in the Neonatal Intensive Care, later that night I started running a fever, I was readmitted to the hospital via the ER, advvised I had an infection the would eventualy healed and now 5 years later it developed a cyst that was infected and would ooz, it was excised by a surgeon and sticked with something that dissolved fast, the wound opened up, the Surgeon said that it might open,he said if it did ite would have to heal from the inside out, as a precautionI had it rechecked by my family Dr and she said it looks great. Tonight I was cleaning it and noticed a big lump under it, I cleaned th would and gently pressed on the lump, it burst like a pimple, spraying fluid on my mirror, it was gross. Afraid there was something wrong I phoned my Dr. after-hours line and the groggy oncall DR said to call the office in the moorning, its still oozing the bloody shicking gunk, it doesn't stink but it is sticky and the wound looks angry. Any Ideas as to why this happened?
