Turn for the worse

January 28, 2008 7:12am CST
I was trying so hard to beat the alcohol. But the last 3 weeks have been so hard and i'm finding it worse than ever. I've already taken an over dose not that it worked. I really have had enough other than stabbing myself or taking even more pills. No one is taking me serious. Just lost my job as they did not need me any more. I am the lowest i have ever been, i do believe in god but even that is not helping right now. i only drink hoping one day it will kill me, even that seems not to work. I really am rock bottom only the bottom seems to get worse and worse. I've never been so low. I do believe in god but right now he does not seem to want to help me. perhaps this is my rightful path. If you know of any good drugs that can help me then i would begrateful.??

Hey, hang in there you're not alone! Try welbutrin sr,I'm on it and its effective for weight loss and if you drink you'll be guaranteed to have a seizure. Please join a support group ASAP! I really feel for you. Make sure that you see a Doctor and don' give up.

this is very serious, you may be clinically depressed and you need to see your doctor who will perhaps send you to a psychiatrist for medication to help you have a better balance of feelings and emotions.

Hi again aquaj! can you see from the responses you've got that you are not alone! When I first read your post I felt I had to respond, if only to say I understand what your going through.I'm not an AA or NA member and if those things dont work for you then keep looking until you find something that does. If you have a pyhsical dependency on alchohol then deffinatley seek proffesional advice.Maybe look at the possibility of Rehab.Rehab may take away some external pressures (paying bills ,trying to find work, managing day to day life)and help you to begin solving some of your difficulties. I honestly hope you feel a bit better. And Im a UK resident(Sheffield) so if anything I'm a little closer than I first thought !! take care

Laughter is best medicine to all disease so as the depression. It will through the pressure in mind and lightens it and feel happy.
