What do you prefer to eat in the freezing winter?

I think hotpot is a very good choice. We just need to add various kinds of vegetables, tofu, beef, fish and so on into the hotpot. When it's done, then you get them to your own bowl. Since it's hot, you won't feel cold any more.

I don't drink coffee or tea, or even hot chocolate. I eat the same things I do in the summer except I don't eat ice cream in the winter.

Hello dear TerryZ. I also like homemade soup. Usually my wife would like to make some egg-mushroom soup, egg-tomato soup, thousand-year-egg-bitter-gourd soup and seaweed soup. We also have some chicken soup as well in almost all the four seasons as they are our favorite. By the way, I love fish soup very much, so tasty for me. We always put some ginger in the fish soup when it is being made. Thanks.

It's really cold here today again! I notice myself longing for hot pot and spicy food. Because those food are really hot and they would warm me up too! I would hate to eat sushi (Japanese food) in the winter time since most of them are really cold!

Hello dear youless. I think that hotpot is one of my favorites in cold winter and it is easy to make a hotpot as we only need to have put in some different kinds of stuff. But I can not often have hotpot as it makes me uncomfortable in the mouth if I eat hotpot too close in time. Once or twice a week is ok for me. Thanks for your new discussion, dear youless.

I know how important a voice for a teacher. I am not a teacher, but if I have a throat problem and I can't speak at all, that feeling is so terrible.

Yeah, you are right. If I can not have a good voice, I cannot do my job well. So I often say to my wife that I have a gold voice, which helps me to make my living. lol. Thanks so much for your further response and I have to say good night to you now. Have a sweet dream, dear youless.

My preference would be homemade soups, I make a different one every couple of days and I always have some great ideas for new ones. You can absolutely turn anything into a mouth watering, bone warming nutritious meal if you know the basics of making a soup.

Hi youless, my husband and I had taken chafing dish at a food store in the winter when we visited china few years back. There was a wok of hot boiling delicious soup which was heated with burning fuel beneath it was placed on the table. Beside there were dishes of stuffs liked fish, chicken and veggies etc. We then picked some of them and put into the boiling soup. After a while we then scooped the cooked food and soup into our bowl and enjoyed eating them. It was so nice to have fresh hot food during cold winter.
