i think it depends on what type of business you are trying to do, how much money you have for start up. there are many ideas out there, its just a matter of deciding what you want to do. there are also many scams out there, be careful.

My business is a natural work at home business. I am a freelance writer. Have been for over a decade, though it has only been in the last couple of years that I have approached it as a business rather than a hobby. I am slowing building up my backlist. I am not really sure if it is something that I would recommend. The only reason I ended up treating it as a business is that I got laid off (from food service), and it was the only work that I could find. Not exactly the best way to end up self-employed and working at home.
