I was shopping for clothes the other day and couldn't find a thing I liked

I want nice, comfortable clothes in fun colors that hit me somewhere in the vicinity of my lower hips. I don't want slinky geometric tops, short cropped sweaters, form fitting tshirts. I don't particularly want to show off my cleavage, though if someone actually would want to look at it, go for it haha. Who are they designing clothes for nowadays? Not the average size, average budget, woman. I have been to the malls, I have looked at the catalogs. I don't want ramie or acrylic - they make me itch. I want nice washable, comfortable. I don't want to "dry flat" or iron. Obviously, I must be too fussy. I may have to drag out the sewing machine.
