what are you doing during the swg strike

The screen writers guild is looking for compensation for tv plays from online. The major tv networks are trying to keep that extra for themselves. Without getting into the business and politics of the strike, I have a couple of questions
What shows are you missing because of the strike?
What are you doing to replace watching those shows?
Do you think your favorite shows will still be on when the strike ends?
Are you going to just go back to watching tv the way you used to when the strike does end?
As for me, I am missing House, Criminal Minds, and Moonlight moslty. Their are other shows I watch, and then there are ones like Medium which was decided to come on when the football season was over, so I am enjoying it now.
I have been watching a lot of online video, and spending time on the internet, but I have been moving in that direction for a while now anyway.
There are 3 new shows I have been watching and only one I feel may be affected by the strike, that is Reaper. The other 2 are Chuck and Reaper and both are people's choice for best new show in their categories.
I usually tend to only watch certain shows and don't just watch to watch. When those shows come back I will be watching them. Most are quality and all are enjoyable to me.
So what about you?

Well it hasn't really affected me a whole lot, since I don't watch tv much anyway. I would rather read a book or get on the computer. Both challenge the mind a little more than sittin in front of the boob tube.
I do have a few favorite shows, CSI and House, and once in awhile, I like to watch Kitchen Nightmares. Other than that, I don't devote too much thought to what is going to be on.
I guess the writers are entitled to strike the same way unions are when they feel they are getting treated unfairly. I imagine I'll get back into my usual Tuesday/Thursday swing of House and CSI when the strike is over.

Since there's often more than one show that I like on at the same time so far I'm managing to catch up on the ones I didn't watch as they're rerun but I really do miss a few of my favorites. Brothers & Sisters is my favorite and I thought they were totally out of new episodes but I see there is one coming up on Feb. 10. That's probably it, though. Desperate Housewives in another one and I'm dying to see what happens next but I'm afraid it's going to be a long, long wait. Some of my other faves have had new shows now and then, I guess to stretch it out longer, including CSI Miami and ER. Luckily, Friday Night Lights and October Road got later starts so they're still new, but I'm sure not for long. If and when my favorites come back I'll be watching. I'm on the side of the writers because I think it's a crock that the producers don't think they deserve anything for online shows or DVD sales and rentals. Typical corporate fat-cat greed!
